With temperatures nearing 90 degrees at Camden, NJ the rowing will be fast, furious and possibly condensed as what’s an SRAA in New Jersey without the threat of thunderstorms?

We are still at NYSSRA HQ, so results will again be available on Twitter @NYSRowing with an eye on the weather and contact on-site for updates.

There is a scheduled break from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. so stay tuned as the 6 a.m. hourly has thunderstorms possible after 2 p.m.

Saratoga Rowing Association senior rowers Kathryn Grabowski (left) and Catharine Griskowitz (right) have rowed together for the past nine years and will both attend Boston University this fall as part of the women’s lightweight program.

They have been best friends since grade school, they learned to row together on Fish Creek and the success will continue for Saratoga Rowing Association seniors Kathryn Grabowski and Catharine Griskowitz who are both joining the Boston University lightweight program in the fall.

SRA’s Kathryn Grabowki and Catharine Griskowitz to attend BU

The duo have competed in almost every configuration of boats for SRA through the years and wanted to end their careers together in the double, winning a state title last weekend.

The two rowers, not college roommates (too much of a good thing), will look to continue their winning ways at nationals.

It’s been a Twitter topic for the past 24 hours and now here is the official press release from Schuylkill Navy regarding the move.
